End of Dezember 2025 the newest issue of i-com will be published.

The issue mainly includes submissions to the call „Case Studies in HCI“.
We received many manuscripts and present five of these in this issue. Two more will follow in April 2026 in issue 1/2026.
In addition to the manuscripts Alexander Richter and me have written a extensive editorial in which we present our learnings regarding case studies (in HCI) – both what we expected when opening the call, and what we learned from the review process regarding future case study submissions.
Finally, the issue includes three more research papers from the free submission process and a report about “From the Metaverse to Virtual Worlds: Europe’s Path Towards Human-Centric Digital Spaces – Notes on Digital Autonomy, Sovereignty, and Culture“.
