Mobile and wearable technologies are now universal. They enable ubiquitous communication, sensing, and interaction. The design of mobile and wearable technologies has a tremendous impact on our everyday lives. Research in the field of mobile interaction investigates novel interaction techniques, multimodal feedback, the use of wearables in AR and VR, mobile activity tracking, mobile conversational user interfaces, and other related topics. There is also a growing interest in investigating the connection between mobile interaction and sustainability, digital self-determination, and handling sensitive user data on mobile devices. For this special issue we invite contributions in the broad and important field of mobile and wearable interaction.
Accepted articles will be published in the Journal of Interactive Media (i-com), edited by the German Association for Informatics. i-com is indexed by the major scientific indices. Scopus CiteScore has reached 1,7 for i-com articles in 2020.
